Bentley In a wedding ceremony that took place in Sidney Valley, at 7:30 a. m. on July 16, two of Parowan's young people Miss Sheri Lynne Price' and Mr. Clinton McNicol Bentley, j were united in marriage. An uncle of the bridegroom, Bishop. Bish-op. Val Hyatt Bentley, of the Third Ward, officiated in the single ring ceremony. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Whitlock; the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Bentley, all of Parowan. The bridal party was hosted host-ed at a wedding breakfast following fol-lowing the ceremony by Mr. and Mrs. Gary H. Bentley, held at Cedar Breaks Lodge. That evening from 7 to 9, the young newlyvveds were honored at a reception, held in the Parowan Third Ward cultural ihall. For Jhjs event the bride wore a floor-length white lace over taffet gown, with a scalloped neck line, long pointed sleeves with tiny covered buttons. The gown was fitted at the waist. Her veil of illusion was held by a, crown headpiece, and featured ' a floor length lace train Her bridal bouquet was of white daisies and carnations. j The bride's attendants were' Mrs,' Doug' Harrison, a sister, Mrs. Robert Esplin, Miss An-gie An-gie Dalton, Miss Christine Or-ton, Or-ton, Miss Cindy Evans, Miss Gail Bentley and Miss Kristcn Bentley, the latter two sisters of the bridegroom. Mrs. Harrison Harri-son and Mrs. Esplin wore blue floor-length dresses; the others oth-ers wore green floor-length dresses. Their flowers were nosegays of white daisies. Flower girls were nieces of the bride, the Misses Eobbie and Linda Harrison, who wore floor-length floral print dotted swiss. Standing as best men for the bridegroom were Greg Mil ler, a cousin, and Chuck Bentley, Bent-ley, a brother. For her going away outfit the new Mrs. Bentley wore an orchid and white polyester pant suit and white sandals. They honeymooned in southern south-ern and central Utah including includ-ing a two-day stay at Bryce Canyon. heyTra Canyon. They are now at home in Parowan until fall. The bride is a 1971 graduate gradu-ate of Parowan High School, a graduate of the LDS Seminary. Semin-ary. She was a 1970 delegate to Girls' State and a member mem-ber of the Rammette marching group. She was a delegate to the Model United Nations for two years and was active in ' music and drama. The bridegroom is a 1965 graduate of Parowan High, where he participated in all sports, as well as in student government anehmusic. He at tended U S U one year and served in the U, S. Navy for four years. Is at present employed em-ployed by Evans mechanical contracting but plans to continue con-tinue to go to school this fall. The bride was honored at a personal shower, given by the Misses Gail and Kristen Bentley; Bent-ley; a garden supper for immediate im-mediate members of the families, fam-ilies, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Gary Bentley. ' Out-of-town guests here for the wedding and other festivities festivi-ties were: Mrs. Leo Robinson, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Sammic Crowther, Aurora; Mrs. Jim Lake and daughters, DeEttc 1 and Angie, Phoenix; Mrs. For- ' rest DeMille, Las Vegas; Mr. and Mrs. Francis Price and sons Mike and Eddie, also Las Vegas; Mr. and Mrs. John Stewart, Hemct, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. John Wilson and laughter Leilani, Long Beach; Mr. and Mrs. Merton Mitchell Las Vegas; and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bentley and children of ;, Orem, Utah. |
