Fast action on the part of at least two pesple also camped camp-ed in the area was attributed to saving their lives. Immediate Immed-iate first aid was given by Tim Landcaster, a reserve police po-lice officer of Long Beach, Calif., as well as , by Alice Reynolds, a registered nurse, from Phoenix, Ariz. In addition addi-tion oxygen was immediately available i at the site through Lee Allred cf Lohi and on . hand was George Connell, National Na-tional Commander of the Jeep Patrol who administered arti- . ficial respiration. Two-way radio units were utilized to rush an ambulance to the scene and bring the pair to the Valley View Medical Center where emergency treat-ment treat-ment was rendered. Doctors at the hospital attributed at-tributed the fast action of those at the site for saving the lives of the two Missourians. . At the request of her hus- band, Mrs. Clements returned . to the tournament site to begin be-gin competition and Mr. Clem-entg Clem-entg and his son were released near noon Tuesday also returning re-turning to the site to witness the events. |
