Show . - -. i Special education programs of this area topic of confab Crrgg Ingram, Coordinator of Handicapped Students Services Ser-vices for SEDC, recently attended at-tended the Council for Exceptional Excep-tional Children (CEO national nation-al convention in Memphis, Tenn. While there Mr. Ingram In-gram presented, along with Dr. Benjamin Bruse, Utah State Department of Special Education; Dr. Harold Coker, Georgia State Department of Special Education; and Leonard Leon-ard Baca, Western Inter-state Commission for Higher Education, Edu-cation, a paipor on service patterns pat-terns in Special Education for rural and sparsely populated areas. . The major theme -of the paper pa-per centered around the existing ex-isting special education programs pro-grams found in the counties of Iron, Beaver, Kane, Washington, Wash-ington, Millard and Garfield, comprising the Southwest Educational Ed-ucational Educational Development Devel-opment Center area. Slides of local Special Education teachers teach-ers and their classrooms GREGG INGRAM plus descriptions of their Special Spe-cial Education programs were presented. By the response of many attending the convention, the presentation was well receiv-ed receiv-ed with several inquiries wanting more information about the existing Special Education' Ed-ucation' programs found in the rural counties of southwestern Utah. |
