Show Former PHS students call lor reunion Thomas Wolf once said:: "We can never go home again", but seven women who grew up together, played play-ed together, went through school together and then moved away to make homes elsewhere, still call Parowan Paro-wan "HOME". They are coming home to see each other and renew old friendships. Each of them returns to Parowan from time to time some more often than others, but it has been many years since they have all been together. Plans for this reunion began about Christmas Christ-mas time. Letters and phono calls have been flying back and forth between them and they are to meet here this week. They would like to Invite all old friends and townspeople towns-people to join them in an open house at the "Old Rock Church" reception hall Saturday, July 17, 1941. . YOUR HOSTESSES: ' Mrs. W. Clair Rowley (Roberta Benson), St. George. Mrs. C. B. Crane (Marie Halterman), Circleville. Mrs. C. B. Crane (Ella Robinson), Salt Lake City Mrs. P. A. Ballinger (Alice Adams) Ogden. Mrs. Warren Couts (Frankie Dalley), Belmont, Calif. Mrs. Clara Scott (Clara Connell) Norwalk, Calif. Mrs. George Brunncr (Golda Rasmussen), Pasadena, Calif. Added to the group as a hostess is Mrs. Elmer Mitchell Mitch-ell (Florence "Frostie" Benson) who later become one of the group, but has remained in Parowan. This is a cordial invitation to anyone who would care to come and they will be disappointed if all their old friends and acquaintances do not call by to say "Hello". |
