Show SUSG instructor accepted in Cornell doctoral program Bruce W. Jorgenscn, instructor instruc-tor in English in the Southern Utah State College School of Arts and Letters has been accepted ac-cepted in the doctoral program at Cornell University. He has begun studies during the summer sum-mer quarter which will lead to a doctorate in English with emphasis on American Literature Litera-ture and Prose Fiction. Mr. Jorgensen joined the SUSC faculy in 1968. He graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University Univer-sity in 1966 and received his Master of Arts degree from Cornell University in 19G9. At BYU he was named the "Outstanding "Out-standing Senior" in the College Col-lege of Humanities and received re-ceived a Woodrovv Wilson Fellowship Fel-lowship and a Danforth Graduate Grad-uate Fellowship. He will con-Wnue con-Wnue his studies at Cornell on the Danforth Fellow ship, which has been renewed. |
