Show Swimming pool to offer many special activities Mrs. Gale Stolk, manager of the Parowan swimming pool, reports that the pxl is having hav-ing a real good season, probably prob-ably because of the warm season sea-son and the program going on at the facility. She states that registration for swimming lessons will get under way today, Thursday, July 15 at 11 a. m. at the pool and that the lessons will begin be-gin Monday, July 19. She entourages en-tourages all who may be in- terested in taking the lessons to register at this time. The Parowan swimming pool team, which is being coached by Miss Jane Rasmus- j sen of Orem is participating with a similar team from Cedar Ce-dar City at the Parowan pool on Tuesday, July 31. Mrs. Stolk. in announcing the meet says that there are still openings open-ings on thp team and that anyone wishing to become a member may do to by reporting report-ing at the pool Mrs. Stolk also adds that she would like to encourage adults to take advantage of the night set apart for them, each Thursday from 6 to 9 p. m. She has set this night for adults of the area, and would like to see more of them par-Iticipaling par-Iticipaling in it. |
