Show John Benson family has two-day meet The John and Mary Alice Benson Family reunion was held in Parowan on Friday and Saturday, July 31 and Aug. 1, and the following account ac-count of the two day activities activi-ties has been furnished to us by Mrs. Arch Benson. A family dinner was enjoyed enjoy-ed Friday evening on the city park by 112 members of the family, after which pictures of those assembled were taken tak-en by Zion Photo on the south steps of the Old Rock Church. At 8 p. m. the group assembled as-sembled for a business and election meeting, with the following fol-lowing elected to serve as officers: of-ficers: Donald B. Haycock, president; Howard Benson, vice president; Betsy E. West, secretary; Sara B. Bayles, treasurer; Barbara S. Hunt, historian; Beverly Empey, assistant as-sistant historian, and Eloise Page, program chairman. Saturday the group spent the day at points of interest in the mountains; Navajo Lake, Yankee Meadow, Pan-guitch Pan-guitch Lake and at the El-wood El-wood Page cabin near Cedar Breaks. In the evening, all assembled assemb-led at the Page Cabin for a cook-put, games and visiting. Present were the following, representing the members of the original family: John C.
