Show Three incumbents seek re-election to county school board With the passing of the final filing date for the Iron County School Board on Wednesday, Wed-nesday, July 29, all three incumbents in-cumbents had filed for reelection reelec-tion and two of the candidates candi-dates will be opposed for the four year term. Unopposed in his bid for reelection to the Iron County School Board was Glen Lee Halterman, who represents Parowan. In Cedar City District, representing re-presenting the East side of town, Royce Chamberlain will be seeking reelection but will be opposed on the November ballot by DeVon Dennison. For the board post representing repre-senting the unincorporated area of the county, incumbent Oscar J. Hulet of Summit has filed for reelection. He will be opposed by D. A. Stones, Par-agonah, Par-agonah, who formerly was a member of the school board. The ballot for the school district is non-political and voters in the respective districts dis-tricts will be given a separate separ-ate Ballot at the election on November 10. |
