Show Mortuary team takes Bantam league lead Southern Utah Mortuary posted a 3S-35 win over Iron County Record Saturday to take over undisputed first place in the Crimson division of the National Guard Sponsored Spon-sored Bantam Basketball program. pro-gram. Davis of Southern Utah Mortuary Mor-tuary scored 20 points in loading load-ing his team to victory. Harvey Har-vey with 13 and Nelson with 11 were the high scorers for the Record. In the Gold league all six teams were tied with identical records of 1 and 1 going into in-to Saturday action and Cox Cabinet, Stevens Company and Utah International all posted wins to tie for the league lead. In other action of the Crimson Crim-son league Gulf defeated Cedar Ce-dar Glass 32-13 and Lunt Motor Mot-or downed 'Hunter Hardware 36-33. Blackner was high for Gulf with 16 points while Jackson and Jones had 9 and 8 respectively for Cedar Glass. Leading scorer for Lunts was Felix with 22 but Burns, of Hunters, in a losing effort was the top of the day with 30 of his team's 33 points. In the Gold league Stevens defeated Arctic Circle 45-31; Cox downed Outdoorsman 34-9 34-9 and Utah International defeated de-feated Ron's Sporting Goods 30-29. Leading scorer for Stevens was Holmes with 25. Top scorer scor-er for Arctic Circle were Rollo with 10 and Myers with 8. Hair with 14 points led Cox Cabinet Ca-binet and Morris had 17 points for Outsdoorsman in a losing effort.
