Show Southern Utah State College Air Force ROTG Unit tours Nellis AFB Nineteen members of the( Southern Utah State Air Force , ROTC unit toured Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. February 4. The cadets were accompan- ied by Captain Francis J. Wy-borski Wy-borski of the Department of Aerospace Studies. Nellis AFB is the home of the USAF Tactical Fighter Weapons Center. The base and its auxiliary areas encompasses encompas-ses more than three million acres and nearly every type of fighter aircraft in the Air Force inventory is flown and tested there. The cadets were ante to see and be brieied on the capabilities capabil-ities of the F-105 Thunder, chief, the F-4 Phamtom, and the F-lll. The F-lll swing wing (variable geometry) fighter is the newest aircraft in the USAF inventory. The cadets enjoyed dinner at the Nellis AFB Officer's Club during their noon-time break.
