Show County contributes 212 pints blood in Dlood Dank visit The Iron County Blood Bank drawing was a great success. This is the word received from the Intermountain Red Cross Headquarters in Salt Lake City, by the Iron County Red Cross Chapter in Cedar City, regarding the blood drawing held last week. Cay Broadbent, Brood Bank to all of the citizens of Iron County, and the students at Southern Utah State CoUege who so generously gave heir blood to help meet the quota. "We would also like to thank the nurses, pink ladies, canteeen helpers. Circle K-t organization at SUSC, the radio ra-dio stations and all others who had a part in making this drawing a success," M r s. Broadbent stated. She issued a special thanks to Dr. Reed Farnsworth, Dr. L. V. Broadbent, Dr. Rymal Williams, and Dr. David Brown for giving of their time to supervise the drawings. Two hundred and twelve pints of blood were received which will help to take care of the needs at the Valley View Medical Center, the chairman pointed out |
