Show I SUMMIT NEWS NOTES I of Ogden arrived here Friday and visited until Monday with Mrs. Storey's parents, Mr. and j Mrs. Otto Dalley. Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mis. Jay Davenport was their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Dannie Condie of Cedar, also Mrs. Davenport's parents and sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Dalley, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Storey and sons. Mr. and Mrs. Val Ellis and four children spent several days last week visiting with their folks in Heber. Mrs. Esther Morton and son Tony of Downey, Calif., spent the week end here with another anoth-er son, Rodger and family. Mrs. Donna Davenport The men and boys gathered at the Community Park Saturday Sa-turday morning to pour cement ce-ment for the new tennis court. Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Hum-phorys Hum-phorys and children, Mark and Lori, are spending a two weeks vacation in Star Valley, Wyo. with members of Mr. Hum-phery's Hum-phery's family. Brig Gen . J. Frank Dalley flew to Washington, D. C. last week to attend meetings con-cerning con-cerning the National Guard. Eugene Dalley spent several days last week in the Valley ! View Medical Center. Miss Dorothy Fife of Salt Lake City spent last week visiting vis-iting here with her friend Diane Hulet and was guest of honor at a party Wednesday evening of last week when all the young folks gathered at the Carlisle Hulet home. Bp. and Mrs. Ivan Dalley and daughters Kathleen and Maxine traveled to Salt Lake City to spend the weekend with a son, Leon and family and daughter Bonnie, Dorothy Fife accompanied them to the city. Mr. and Mrs. Conley Adams and children Lynette, Brent, Sandra and Curtis of Hunter, Utah, have spent the week here with Mrs. Adams's parents par-ents and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Farrow and Mrs. Val Dean Williams, after vacationing vaca-tioning in the Pacific northwest, north-west, Canada and Yellowstone Park. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Storey and sons Jeff, Mark and Neil traveled to Grand Canyon Tuesday of last week after re-ceiving re-ceiving word that their daughter, daugh-ter, Myra, who was employed there, had been injured in a car accident. Myra is home now and recovering satisfactorily. satisfact-orily. Mrs. Arren Richards traveled travel-ed to Beaver Saturday where she took her daughter Kay for an overnight visit with friends before going on to Provo to spend eight weeks where she will receive special nurses training. Mrs. Harold Smith accompanied her daughter to Beaver. Mrs. Lettie Fife of Cedar City Ci-ty spent Sunday here with her son Ted Fife and family. Mr. and Mrs. Fred- Whicker and son Kevin of Tooele arrived ar-rived here Monday to spend a few days visiting with their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Davenport. Mrs. Rodger Morton and children Yvette, Christy and Brett joined her mother and sister, Mrs. Albert Harrison and Marsha of Newcastle for a visit in New Harmony Friday Fri-day where they spent the day with their brother and uncle Boyd Pace and helped him celebrate cel-ebrate his birthday. Miss Jeanne White of Cedar City spent Sunday here with her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Her-bert White and was accompanied accom-panied by a roommate, Miss Janet Gurr. . the Bill Divers returned home from Covina, Calif., Saturday, Sa-turday, where they went to take Mrs. Divers's mother home after spending the past four months here.
