Show s Schwendiman Joins i Cedar Police Force Fred C. Schwendiman, a for-. for-. j mor member of the Orom, ! ! Utah police force, has boon ap-1 ap-1 pointed as a member of the Cedar City police force and started his service with the ' department on Saturday, Aug. 12. Mr. Schwendiman, 20. served serv-ed for three years with the Orom police force, two years on patrol duty and one year as a city detective. In addition addi-tion to his service at Orom Sch wend 'man N a graduate of the Utah Valley Hospitol School of Radiology and Technology, Tech-nology, and a graduate of the Highway Patrol Police Academy. Mr. Schwendiman and his wife, the former Miss Maureen Maur-een Madsen. and their three children, had moved to Cedar City in Juno preparatory to his entering College of Southern South-ern Utah to study in tiio Police Po-lice science piograrn. He plans to continue his studies while serving on the Cedar City police po-lice force, and Mrs. Schwendiman Schwendi-man will act as head resident of Mananita Court dormitory . at the college.
