Show Services Scheduled Saturday for Charles R. Dalley Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 19 at 1 p.m. in the Summit LDS Ward Chapel for Charles Ru-pert Ru-pert Dalley, 93, who died in an Ogden Hospital Friday, j Aug. 11 of causes incident to j i't?L. Friends may call at the Southern Ulan Mortuary Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday fioni 11 a.m. until time of services. Dalley was born Nov. 27, 1873 in Summit a son of James and Emma Wright Dalley. lie married Ellen Maria (Neiliel Allen, Nov. 27, 18!)5 in the Manti LDS Temple. Mrs. Dalley Dal-ley died Dec. 16, 1958. An active member of the LDS Church Dalley served as bishop of the Summit Ward for nine years, served a mission mis-sion for the church in the .southern States and was superintendent sup-erintendent of the Sunday School and of the YMMIA at various times. Ho served 50 years as a ward teacher and was called to servo a Stake mission for four and one-half years. He is survived by a son, C. Leland Dalley, Orem; and two I daughters, Mrs. Leonard 1 (Lethal Pitkin, Roy and Mrs. Claude (Marcella) Mitchell, Ogden. Survivors also include two brothers, Parley Dalley, Cedar City and Jess P. Dalley, Los Angeles, Calif, as well as 10 grandchildren , 27 greatgrandchildren great-grandchildren and one great-great great-great grandchild. Burial will be in the Summit City Cemetery. |
