Show Tink Ladies' Present Chrismas Gifts To Medical Center Monday Vivian Knell, president; presi-dent; Revou Carter, treasurer, and Rhea Carter, membership chairman representing the Valley Val-ley View Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary (Pink Ladies),, presented pre-sented to the hospital their annual an-nual Christmas gifts from the organization. These gifts included a portable beauty shop type hair dryer, two hospital type heating pads, a toaster for the pantry, and a large box of assorted toys for the pediatrics ward. Supervisor of nurses, Mary Smith, asked different jnambers "rf-theTrurSes and nurses aides staff to open and receive the gifts. Staff members expressed their appreciation for the gifts and for the work that the "Pink Ladles", accomplish at the hospital. The Valley View Medical Center Cen-ter ladies auxiliary has also set up a scholarship fund to assist a worthy girl in the Candy Striper program to further her education in the field of nursing. Members of the Pink Ladies organization or-ganization derive much pleasure and satisfaction in being able to help, it was Indicated upon making mak-ing the presentation. |
