Show Mrs. Shirley R. Green Member of Cedar High English Staff j' ; ;' ' .. A MRS. SHIRLEY R. GREEN This is the final 1 .1 a scries of articles introducing the new teachers of Cedar City High School. A new member of the English department is Shirley K. Green. Besides English, she teaches journalism and is advisor to the Cedar Post and Ad Lib. Mrs. Green was born in Los Angeles, California, but spent her childhood in New England. She attended schools in New Hampshire and received her B. Ed. from Keene State College, Keene, N. H. She majored in mathematics and minored in English. En-glish. While at KSC, she was elected el-ected to Kappa Delta Phi an honor society in education. Mrs. Green has taught five and one-half years in secondary schools including one year in Emery Co., Utah; odc and one-half one-half years in Idaho Falls, Idaho; and three years in Fresno, California. Calif-ornia. She has received graduate credit from Fresno State College, 1 Fresno, California; Portland State I College, Portland, Oregon; and USU. Her husband is Max C. Green, a native Utahn, employed by the U. S. Forest Service. Mr. and Mrs. Green have three children: Maxine Ann, 17; Thomas Thom-as Eugene, 15; and Gary Lee, 5. |
