Show Sudden Heart Attack Claims ! Clinton Milne j ! CLINTOH MILNE A heart attack Tuesday morn-j morn-j ing claimed ths life of Alexander Alexand-er Clinton Milne, 77, prominent ! Cedar City resident at his home. I Miii.e was a painting contractor contract-or and decorator and active in community and church affairs. .He was one of three generations of connections with rennovation and decorations of the LDS Tern pie in St. George, as well as many other prominent buildings and edifices in the area. At one time he served on the city council of both St. George and Cedar City and was chairman chair-man of the Iron County Democratic Demo-cratic mommittee. He served as a Sunday School Superintendent and was active in other capacities capaci-ties of the LDS Church. At the time of his death he was a member ot ttne board of directors direct-ors of the Cedar City Savings and Loan Association., a position he neiu lor many years, i Milne was born in St. George , February 9, 1888, a son of Alex ; Y. and Alice Worthen Milne. He married Lois Baker Johnson i January 21, 1930. He is survived by his wife, Cedar Ce-dar City, and three sons, Clinton, South Pasadena, Calif., Donald Y. Milne, El Monte, Calif, and Lt. Col. Vance Johnson, Washington, D. C. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, and a brother, Irvin Milne, St. George. Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 24 at 11 a. m. at the Cedar First Ward Chapel. Frionds may call at the Winterrose Southern Utah Mortuary Thursday Thurs-day evening from 7 to 9 p. m. and Friday from 9:30 a. m. until un-til time of services. Burial will be in the Cedar Cty Cemetery. |
