Show Mrs. Lena M. Benson Dies, Services in Parowan Thursday Funeral services are being held this, Thursday, afternoon at 1 o'clock In the Third Ward chapel cha-pel for Mrs. Lena M. Benson, 84, who died In a Provo hospital early Tuesday of natural cause. The services will be conducted by Bishop Verl E. Taylor. It is announced that friends may call at the family home prior to the services. Lena Ann Mickelson Benson, was born l'i Parowan March 14, 1881 to Neils and Hannah Taylor Tay-lor Mickelson and spent her entire en-tire life in this community. She was married to Alvin Richard Benson, March 31, 1908 In Parowan. Paro-wan. He died in November 1337. Mrs. Benson was an active I member of the LDS Church and j had served as an officer and Sunday School and Relief Society Socie-ty organizations at various periods per-iods during her life. She is survived by two sons and one daughter. Grant of Tooele, Too-ele, Utah; Blaine of Kingman, Ari7., and Mrs. Frank (Hildrethi Pat ton, Springvllle; one sister, Maude Mickelson, Salt Lake City; Ci-ty; seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. |
