Show ! NEW HARMONY NEWS By Vada Grant t Mrs, Eva B. Schmutz returned home from Hawaii last week. She has spent several weeks visiting vis-iting there with her daughter, Norma Schmutz. Mr. and Mrs. Darce Prince made a trip to Barstow. Calif., last week end. They were accompanied ac-companied as far as Henderson, Nev by James L. Prince, who remained there to visit his sis- f ter. Mrs. Juanlta Williams, while they went on to Barstow. 4 Mary Ann Hunt spent the week end here visiting Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hunt. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Stapley of Beaver and Bill and Evelyn Prince of Salt Lake City visited here for a few days with their parents, Mr and Mrs. George F. Prince. They came because of the Illness of their father. Mr. and Mrs. rhilden DeMille : and children of Henderson, Nev. spent the week end here visit ing Mr. and Mrs. James Irving Prince. Mrs. Marva Prince and children chil-dren spent Monday In St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hall are home titer spending the past two months in St George working la the L D S temple. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Engle. stead are visiting In Henderson. Tfev. with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Nyberg. Mrs. Delora Hunt and son Bradley, and Mrs Venice Prince and son Mervin, spent Monday afternoon visiting In Cedar City with Mrs. Dorothy Torgersen. Mrs. Abbie Pace Is In Boulder City visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Pace. Mrs. Edna Prince visited In Cedar City Sunday afternoon with her daughter Maureen Lunt. Mr. and Mrs. George A. Grant and daughter, Sharon, and Miss Rosalie Corry of Cedar City visited visit-ed here Saturday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Grant. Mrs. Nelson Pearce, Mrs. Le-on Le-on a Pearce. Mrs. Helen Bleak and Mrs. Zetta Worthen of St. George visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Pearce Friday evening. The Eighth quorum of Elders and their partners held a party here in the ward hall Saturday evening. Thev en.1ovd a nice program, games and refresh, ments. This quorum consists of Elders of Kanarra and New Harmony Har-mony wards. Bishoorics and thHr wives of both wards were guests. Miss Avey Pearce was honored at a personal shower Friday eve- ning. The Old Timers Club of Cedar City met here Saturday afternoon. after-noon. They enjoyed looking at some of the films after which re. freshments were served. Mrs. Esta Taylor was hostess to the Ladies Club at her home Thursday. The time was spent quilting. Refreshments were also served. Frank and Benny Batty were honored at a birthday party on Thursday afternoon, given by their mother, Mrs. Leah Batty. Mrs. Edna Prince attended the funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Russell In Rockvllle Monday. Mrs. Vilo Pearce spent Monday visiting in Toquervllle with Mrs. Fern Klelnman. Mrs. Sarah L Grant Is home after spending some time In St. George working in the L D S Temple and in Las Vegas visiting visit-ing with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kent L. Grant. |
