Show SUTA Convention Scheduled for Richfield I The annual convention of the. Southern Utah Teachers Associa-Hon Associa-Hon will be held on Saturday, Mar. 23 In Richfield, it was announced an-nounced today. The one-day, two-session convention con-vention will feature two top speakers. At the morning session Governor Gover-nor George D. Clyde will address the association members. Afternoon speaker will be Dr. Robert A. Skaife, field representative represen-tative for the office of the assistant as-sistant executive secretary for field operations of the National Education Association. The session ses-sion gets underway at 2 p. m. Dr. Skaife came to his present position after having served the NEA's national commission for the defense of democracy through education as field secretary. Iron County teachers are affiliated af-filiated with the SUTA and all will be Invited to attend the con-vention con-vention activities. The convention conven-tion was held in Cedar City in 1956. |
