Show I Funeral Services HeldFor William C. Murie Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed Thursday afternoon in the Cedar First Ward Chapel by Bp. F. Klein Kollo, for William C. I Murie. I Mr. Murie, a nitive of Cedar City and a ven-ran prosrector , and mining promoter of this area, died Sunday, March 21, In , a Salt Lake City hospital of na-j na-j tural causes. ' Speakers at the services were : Harry Lunt and Charles R. Hun ter, with a tribute given by Mrs. Rebecca Bulloch. Invocation was by Francis Betenson, Bet-enson, benediction by Marvin j Jones, dedication of the grave by I i H. P. Dotson, and prayer at the , 1 mortuary prior to the services by ', Geo Wood. I The musical program included includ-ed a vocal solo, "Hold Thou My (Hand," by Aliene Chu.nberlam. i accompanied by Barbara Maxwell; Max-well; and a vocal duet, Beyond The Sunset", by Mr. and Mrs. S. DeMoin Jones. Prelude and post-lude post-lude music was by Marilyn Prince. Burial was in the Cedar City cemetery. After a young lawyer had taiked neariy five hours to a jury which, by that time, felt like lynching him, his opponent, a grizzled old veteran of legal wars, smiled sweetly at the Judge and ji.rv and said, "Your honor, ' I will follow the example of my 'young friend, who has just con-! con-! eluded, and will submit the case without argument." |
