Iron County Selected Services Businesses Grossed Two Million Dollars During 1963 Iron County's 65 service establishments esta-blishments had total receipts of $2.0 million in 1963, an increase of 51 percent from 1958, according accord-ing to a report of the 1963 census of business Just released by the j Bureau of the Census, U. S. De-! De-! partment of Commerce. The last previous census of business covered cov-ered operations during 1958. The service trades in the census cen-sus of business included those providing personal services to individuals; in-dividuals; miscellaneous business busi-ness services; auto repair and other auto services; and other repair services. Also Included were motion picture productions and distribution businesses; motion mo-tion picture theaters; other j amusement and recreational ser-I ser-I vices; and hotels and motels. The selected service trade establishments es-tablishments in the county em- ployed 165 persons (exclusive of proprietors) and had a payroll 'for the year of $371,000.
