Show Athletic Scholarships Awarded to Cedar High Students College of Southern Utah Ath-lectic Ath-lectic Department this week presented pre-sented two athletic scholarships to students at Cedar High School. Recipients of the scholarships to enter CSU next fall, were Fred Esplin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Esplin, and John Rollo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Rollo. Esplin received a scholarship for basketball and Rollo received receiv-ed a football scholarship. Both are seniors at Cedar High. They are both members of the Letterman's Club and the Key Club. Presentation was made by Boyd Adams, head basketball coach, and who will serve as acting act-ing Director of Atalctics at CSU next year. Other scholarships throughout the state will be awarded during dur-ing the coming weeks, Adams stated. Formal presentations are made at the regular awards assemblies as-semblies of the various schools, he noted. |
