Show Advancements and Merit Badges Awarded To Scouts at Brian Head Court of Honor At the regular monthly Court ! of Honor for the scout troops of the Brian Head Distri'-t, a total of 15 advancements were made and 51 merit badges were awarded award-ed during the evening, according to W. Clair Rowley, advancement chairman. The Court of Honor was held in the Third Ward chapel cha-pel Sunday evening with Troop 343 of that ward conducting the opening and closing exercises. The following advancements were made: to Second Class Scouts, Davlri Applegate, Julian Rollins and Dennis Johnson, o' Troop 343 (Third Wardi; Lee Ah-bott Ah-bott and Ralph Lister, Troop 331 (Paragonah); Gary Jones, John Dalley and Dale Robinson, Troop 349 (Second Ward). First Class, Douglas Robinson, Troop 343. Star, Guy Rowley, Troop 343, and to the rank oi Life Scout, Ronald Johnson, Jerry Robinson, Kenny Orton, Paul Chamberlain and Richard Adams, all from Troop 313. Palm Awards were presented 'to Allen Farnsworth and Jud Hendrlckson of Troop 343 and Ra-mon Ra-mon Banks of Troop 349. The Eagle Ea-gle Award, which was to have been made at this Court of Hon or, had to be postponed because the recipient of the award was ill and unable to attend. It was announced that the next Court of Honor will be held April 25 in the Paragonah Ward chapel with Troop 331 to be in charge of the opening and closing ceremonies. |
