Show Deilnn Boardman Weds in Double Ring Riles Miss DeAnn Boardman and Mr. Stanley M. Slack were Join-d In marriage at a double rins ceremony Friday evening at the First-Second Ward Relief Society rooms, with Bishop Howard M. Adams officiating, in the p-e-sence of a large number of friends and relatives. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Boardman and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Slack of Cedar City. The newlyweds were hono-ed at a reception Riven by the bride's parents following the ceremony with Karl O. Mitchell, as master of ceremonies. The bride was attired In a waltz length gown of lace and tulle, underscored with satin. The lace bodice had long sleeves and a high winged neckline. The( bouffant skirt was formed of tiers of lace and tulle. Her fingertip fing-ertip veil of Illusion was held by a crown of pears and sequins. She carried a bouquet of American Amer-ican Beauty roses with white streamers. Attending the bride as Maid of Honor was Miss Annette Thornton Thorn-ton and Mrs. Farrell Robb as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Misses Karen Boardman, Annette Dalton. Carol Slack and Beverley Boardman. They were dressed In American Beauty rose and pale pink sheath dresses and they carried nosegays nose-gays of pink carnations. Performing the duties of bet men were raul HoiyoaK ann George Slack. Ushers were Raymond Ray-mond Bauer and Richard Cripps. The b;ide's mother wore a beige lace draess, while 'he I groom's mother chose a navy I crepe dresj;. Both had corsages ; of baby roses. At the guest register was Miss-Rose Miss-Rose Ann Barton. Receiving gif'f were Mrs. Petty Lou Schoppmm. I Mrs. Doris Kelt. Mrs. Jackie I Slack am' Mrs. I.vndn Green, ns-I ns-I Fisted ly the Misses Jerrolyn Benson. Susan Mitchell and Donna Don-na Lou Schoppman. In charge of refreshments wcre Mrs. Kathleen Mitchell, M-s. Roena Benson, Mrs. Doraine Or-ton Or-ton and Mrs. Roberta Rowley. Serving were Laura Lamoreaux. Jerrolyn Gurr, Sonya Adams and Cherry Dawn Evans. The couple left for a short honeymoon trip to Las Vens ' and are now at home In Cedar City. |
