Iron County Award $1161 for Execution Expense District Judge Will O. Moyt awarded Iron County judgment in the amount of $1161.35 In a claim filed against Beaver County. Coun-ty. Case was heard at Beaver Monday. Iron County attorney R. L. Gardner filed a complaint claim against Beaver County for the above stated amount for expenses ex-penses incurred for the execution execu-tion of Braach and Sullivan, convicted murderers who were tired in Iron County on a change of venure from Beaver County. The claim was for the expense of execution only and was not tor any other part of the trial proceecVigs, according to Gardner. Gard-ner. The expenses were for the transportation, food, and training train-ing of the two firing squaJs form Iron County who conducted the executions at the Utah State Prison In Salt Lake County. Defense for Beaver County, John Christensen, questioned the amount asked for in the claim, but did not attempt to dispute the claim. Only witness called In the proceedings pro-ceedings was Iron County Deputy De-puty Sheriff, Charles Wells, who was in charge of the execution proceedings.
