Show NEWS NOTES FROM NEWCASTLE I Mrs. Mildred TuUU Mr. and Mrs. Robert Piatt Mov-ed Mov-ed to Cedar City last week. They will share an apartment with their daughter, Mrs. Roberta Clark. It was with regret that the town saw these life-long residents resi-dents of Newcastle and Pinto l?ave, but the Platts felt they should be closer to medical care. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison and family l ave moved to Cedar Ce-dar City for the winter. Mrs. Fern Reeves and daughter, daugh-ter, Ruth Ann, are visiting in George for a short time with Mrs. Reeves' folks. Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Christen-sen Christen-sen left Wednesday for Salt Lake! City. where they wil attend the Utah Poultry Convention. Mr. Christensen is President of the local Utah Poultry Co. j The 4-H Awards meeting for' the Beryl area was held Mon-! day evening at the Valley School. Sydney Tuiiis and Robert Reeve both received cash awards for neat records. Robert also received a pin for his successful hog project. pro-ject. Beverly Christensen and Kathleen Knell played a piano duet and Jean Forsyth reported on her 4 -II group. Mothers of the girls were present and Bob Reeve. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Christensen were delighted Monday with a visit from Mr. Christensen's sis. ter and two nieces from New-York New-York City and Salt Lake City. Mrs. Geneva GiLhos and son Kenneth spent Veterans Day visiting vis-iting in Las Vegas. Nov. Relief Society Ward Conference Confer-ence was held Sunday evening ol last week. A fine program was presented by the organization. The Primary Top Pilot class, with the help of their teacher, Lota Jolley, entertained their parents Sunday afternoon with a program and refreshments.
