Show Local Establishments Clamp Down On Minor Beers Sales Cedar City establishments who sell beer have taken steps to protect pro-tect themselves against the possibility pos-sibility of selling beer to minors and to eliminate as much as possible pos-sible the attempt by minors to make purchases. It is unlawful to sell beer to minors, but in many instances, venders report, it is difficult to determine the age of the purchaser. pur-chaser. Therefore the vendors have decided to develop a card system that should eliminate any trouble. Any person, whose age is in question, will be asked to fill out a card giving detailed information infor-mation of the individual's age and status. The card stipulates that the signer, if he gives false information, is liable to a fine of $100.00 and imprisonment for 30 days. The card is identical with the one an individual must fill out in applying for a state liquor permit. The cards will be kept on file and will be open to public Inspection In-spection at all times. Police officers, of-ficers, city officials or any individual indi-vidual will be welcome to check the names on file. |
