Show Fly Control Campaign To Be Conducted by Cedar Junior Chamber The Cedar City Junior Chamber of Commerce will open its annual an-nual fly control campaign in the city Sunday, June 15. In an effort to rid Cedar City of the fly menace the Jaycees want to start spraying the business busi-ness district, local corrals and all possible breeding places of flies before they can develop in the city. Although very few flies have been seen this early in the summer season, it is felt by the Jaycees that it will be easier to rid the city of the menace now. A city-wide campaign will be conducted by the local club. All business houses will be contacted and the grounds in the rear of the buildings will be sprayed. Local citizens with corrals are asked to contact the Junior Chamber or get in touch with Keith CriDDS and members of the organization will bring the spraying equipment to the home to do the spraying. As yet the Jaycees have not set-up a committee to handle the campaign, but Mr. Cripps, vice president of the organization has been designated as board advisor for the campaign. |
