Show Cedar City fill-Stars Gain Berth In Helper Region Six Tournament The Cedar City Litlle League all-star team has been piven a berth in the Region Six tournament at Helper next week without the necessity of a play-off. The team was originally scheduled to meet the Sunnyside, Utah team here Saturday in a game to determine one entry into the tournament. However, a Montana Iteam, originally scheduled for participation, failed to qualify which opened the way for both the Cedar City and Sunnyside teams to enter the tournament. As a result the game in Cedar City has been cancelled and the 14 player team will leave Sunday for Helper where the three-day mnnt will nnnn Mnnd.iv. The team will be managed by Cleo Petty with Klien Rollo assisting. Play Opening Game The Cedar City team will play the opening game of the tournament, tourna-ment, meeting Billings, Mont., at 11 a. m. Monday. Light teams will be entered and the tournament tourna-ment will be played on a winner win-ner and consolation bracket basis, ba-sis, assuring each team of the chance to play in two games. Besides Cedar, Billings and Sunnyside, Sun-nyside, the other five teams entered en-tered are Provo, Price, Glenrock, Wyo., winner of the Granger-Helper Granger-Helper play-off, and winner of a Pocatello-Morgan-Blackfoot playoff. play-off.
