Show SKiwanians Hold Work Meeting To Repair Playground Kiw i'iiar-.s of Cedar City were out in mass last Monday eening with hoes, ral.es anil shovels in response to a work meeting called at the Kiwanis playground play-ground on 1150 West. hichard Morris, president, called call-ed the regular meeting of the club at the playground that was established last year in that section sec-tion of town, to clean-up and repair re-pair the grounds and equipment. With most of the "handy men" of the civic club on hand, the grounds were restored to tip top condition so that neighborhood children could play in safety and on clean grounds. Next Monday evening at 6:15 the meeting will be held at the hotel and will feature a Fathers and Daughters meeting, according accord-ing to Rev. Wm. Burton, program director. Daughters of Kiwanians will furnish the entertainment for the anual meeting, the director emphasized. |
