Show Cedar City Music Students to Enter Region Six Meet The Cedar City high school will bp well represented at the Region Reg-ion Six Solo and Ensemble music contests to be held at Orderville, Friday, April 1st, according to Principal Pratt M. Bethers. The two music directors of the high school, A. B. Larson, in charge of instrumental instruc-tion, instruc-tion, and Edward A. Sandgren, in charge of vocal work, have selected representatives of the school to participate in the contests, con-tests, by elimination try-outs Students entered in the Instrumental In-strumental contests include the following: Colleen Perkins, B flat Clarinet solo; Donald Mosdell and Tarma Esplin, B-flat Clarinet Clari-net duet; Gail Bradshaw, violin solo; Carolyn Pace, French Horn solo; Tom Cardon, Cornet solo; Donald Milne and Robert Frame, Cornet duet; Mildred Sargent, Oboe solo; Melvin Condie, Alto Clarinet solo; Joy Tait, Viola solo; Douglas Knell, Alto Saxophone Saxo-phone solo; Geraldine Fakler, and Diane Smith, Bass Clarinet solo; Marilyn Arns, Bassoon solo; Kent Lee, Flute solo; Allen Seeg-miller Seeg-miller (Junior High), B-flat clarinet, solo.
