Show Family Institute Begins Session In First Ward Chapel The Family life Institute will open this evening with the noted Mrs. Sidonie M. Gruenberg of the Child Study Association ol America, Amer-ica, as discussion leader. Addressing the opening session in the First Ward Chapel Mrs. Gruenberg will discuss "Newer Concepts of Discipline." Dis-cipline." Friday's sessions will open with a student assembly at 11 a x. at which time Mrs. Gruenberg will discuss "What Is ' Maturity?" At three o'clock a student panel, led by the visiting speaker, will discuss dis-cuss "Parents, Young People, and Money". This pr0mises to be one of the outstanding events of the conference. The closing general session will te held at the First Ward Chapel at 8 p.m. when Mrs. Gruenberg will consider the topic "Our Children's Child-ren's Leisure Time Effect of Radio, Movies and Comics on Today's To-day's Child." The Institute is In charge of the Community Adult Education Committee Com-mittee as one of their year's special spe-cial activities. |
