Forest Service. "The study is expected to discover many of the answers to problems related to game, livestock and range I management," Ross Leonard, state Jfli,h and game director, explained. He cited some of these problems ,as the degree of competition between various species of animals, range carrjlng capacities on typical areas, tjpes of forage most palatable to different species and value of big game feeding programs, j Findings from the study will be j used throughout the nation for use in management of wild and I'.omestic I resources, Leonard said. Cost of the study will be shared by the three agencies. The Fish and Wildlife Service has appropriated $25,000 for the survey while the for-est for-est and range experiment station has $16,000 allotted for the work.
