Show A. L. Woodhouse Dies in Los Angeles Word ws received this morning that Albert L. Woodhouse, one of the organizers of the old Dixie Power Company, and president manager of the company from 1917 to 1930, died in Los Angeles, Wednesday, Wed-nesday, August 28th. The cause of death has not been learned. Funeral Fun-eral services will be held at the Crown Chapel in Los Angeles Friday. Mr. Woodhour enme to Utah from Colorado, and served as construction con-struction engineer for the Tellurlde Power company in Salt Lake City for a number of years, later moving to Richfield as manager of the Tellurlde Tell-urlde Company. In 1917 he, with Oeorge Dern, foimer Governor of Utah, Lafayette Hanchett, Lewis Case and others, organised the Dixie Power company, com-pany, now the Southern Utah Power Pow-er company, and served as President-Manager of the company, un-till un-till late in 1930, when he moved to California where he has resided since, and has been associated with the Oold Leach Electric Company. He came to Cedar in 1924 and made his home here until 1930. While a resident of Cedar City Mr. Woodhouse was one of the organizers of the Mammoth Plaster Plas-ter company, and was an organizer and charter member of the local Elks Lodge.
