Show Final Plans For Livestock Show Being Rushed With the opening of the Sixth Annual Southern Utah Livestock Show only two weeks away all committees com-mittees are busy completing final details of arrangements,, and arc optomlscally preparing for the biggest entry list in the history of the show The show officials have been assured as-sured that many more animals will be exhibited this year than ever before, and that they will come from I greater .distances and represent many areas that have not participate partici-pate in the local show before. The show will open Thursday morning, September 12th and con tinue for three days, with the animals ani-mals exhibited on the Branch Agrl-I Agrl-I cultural College campus. Judging of all entries will take place during the opening day of the show with the 4-H Club and Future Farmers Chapters Judging contest scheduled for Friday forenoon, September Sep-tember 13th. A big parade will be held at 1:00 p. m. on that day, followed fol-lowed by a Horse Show, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. This will be held on the B. A. C. football field. The Awards Banquet for Exhibitors, Exhibit-ors, at which the 4-H and Future Farmer boys and girls and guests of the show association, will be held at .the Escalante Hotel Friday evening, September 13th. The Auction Sale, outstanding event of the entire show, and one of the biggest sales of the western country will be held on the final day. |
