Show Fire Damages Two Cedar City Buildings Two fires last week end, although quickly controlled by the City fire department, did conslberadle damage dam-age to two local buildings. The department was called Friday Fri-day evening to fight a fire In the boiler room at the Cedar Parks Cottages, Cot-tages, where two or three hundred hund-red dollars damage was done by a fire of unknown origin. Saturday noon a fire was discovered dis-covered in the home on South Second Sec-ond East street, occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Claude Dlx, and owned by J. C. Isbell. The fire, apparently starting start-ing frcm a defective flue, did considerable con-siderable damage to the roof of the building, but was kept from spreading spread-ing to the remainder of the structure. struc-ture. , |
