Show New Nurses Aide Class To Start Early In July A now Nurses A'de class, to be started early in July, has been announced an-nounced by Mrs. Joel Barlow, newly new-ly appoint d chairman of the Iron County Red Cross Nurses Aide committee. com-mittee. The new class, which will be the fifth taught at the local hos-pitcl hos-pitcl since the program started, will Vive those who desire the training, but could not take the other classes, tin opportunity to get the training ns well as an opportunity to con-. con-. tribute toward the war effort. Mrs Paul Edmonds will be the Instructor of the new class. The training requirs 40 hours of Instruction, In-struction, and 40 hours of work in the hospital under supervision, before be-fore prnduaton. Upon completion of the 80 hours, the nurses aides are to give 1"0 hours of voluntary service to the hospital. It is Interesting to rote that Nurs s Aides who have already completed their 150 hours of service are continuing with the work, many of them rearing 500 liours of service. Requirements for those taking the class are the passing of a physical examination, which will be given fr e by anv of the local doctors; a high school education or its equivalent; equiv-alent; and the ages should range between 18 and 50. although the ng? limit can be relased In specific cases Arrangements have been made with the Beehive Oroups of the stake to provide girls to care for children for mothers of young children child-ren who wish to take the new claims. The child care program Is being ff'rod. by the girls free of charge.
