Show Jaycees Plan Annual Spring Clean-up Campaign Tentative plans for the annual spring clean-up sjjonsored by the Junior Chamber of Commerce were outlined Monday nl?ht by the committee com-mittee named to conduct this year's campaign. The com.nlttee, headed by Reed Bradshawt chairman, .set Wednesday. April 19th., as Cleanup Clean-up Day, and outlined plans for the fcia cvsnt. Mr. Bradshaw will be assisted as-sisted by Barney Gorman, Grant Cox, El ner Anderson and Howard Bonzo. The Jaycees plan to cooperate with the city and th3 Senior Chamber of Commerce In a "gravel day" event in connection with the annual cleanup clean-up in an effort to beautify and improve im-prove the condition of the city streets. As in the past trucks and mn will be on hand to haul off trash that property owners have moved from their premises. They request that each property owner have the trash piled at the curb in front of their lots by 9 a. m. on Clean-up Day, and all such trash will be hauled to the city dump by Jaycee members and members of the 316th College Training Detachment. Officers Of-ficers of the C. T. D. have promised full cooperation with the Jaycees for this event. The committee also plans to cooperate co-operate with the salvage committees of the city on that day. Salvage paper, If properly bundled and placed plac-ed on the curb, will also be picked up on that day, as will tin cans that are boxed and placed on the curb. A request will be made that all business houses be closed for the day in order that everyone can do his bit toward cleaning and beautifying beautify-ing the city.
