In addition to this award based olely on scholarship, th B. A. C. s offering a numbf r of $51 activity wards to students from Southern Jtah who excel In Athletics music, pe ch, home economics, science, lournallsm, etc. To be eligible for his award students must be recommend re-commend d by teachers In whose clasr,s or extra-curricular work 'Ji y have excelled. The C dar City Junior Chamb-r of Commerce Is financing an 180 scholarship to the B.A.C. Exactly how the winner of this award will be sMect d has not been declcVI; however leadership and scholastic Ability will be the d termining factors. Th? Unlversl'y of Utah and the B.Y.U. are each offering $25 schol arships. The U5.A.C. has mad? available a $30 scholarship. All scholarships with the exc p-tlon p-tlon of the B.A.C. activity awarf will be presented to the s-nlor t th graduation exercises May 16 Senior Break'ast Sunday morning, May 5, at f o'clock the sen'or girls wil b en tertained at a breakfast given by the Cedarette Club. At the "Senior Breakfast" which is a traditional event at th- hig' chool the girls will be honored with a special program and presented with a small tokm of remembrsnc- Mlss Fern Holt, acting Dean of 1 Girls, is in charge of the break- fast. In addition to the senior girls, Mrs. Zo Palmer, Mrs. Pratt Bothers, Both-ers, Mrs. Ianthus Wright, and the ladies of the hgh school faculty are Invited to attend. Final Faculty Party T Be lit Id In Canyon The high school faculty will piny host to the teachers of th gra-lc and Junior high schools and their partners at a gla spring party which will be held at the B. A. C. ranch in Cedar canyon May 3rd. They plan to arte a small pig, "barbecued with an appl? in iti mouth". Such trimmings as hot rolls, salad,, and strawberry short cake will "dress up" the banquet. After, the d'nuer vigorous gamrs of volleyball, bas ball, and horseshoes will be played. Approximately 100 faculty mem- 8:00 p. m.: Discussion Oroup final party of the year.
