Show Conduct Services For Isaac Wm. Parry Funeral s. rvices were held In the Cedar Third Ward Chapel Tuesday afternoon for Isaac William Parry, 72, who died Saturday In an Ogelen hospital following a major operation. opera-tion. Mr. Parry, born in Cedar Citv, on D"c mber 25, 1873, a son of John and Mar'y Ann Haight Parry, had live here until four yars ago when he mov.'d to Ogden to acce-pt employment em-ployment nl war industry. He was an active church worker and Mled an LDS mission when a young man. He served as supervisor of streets in Cedar City before leaving for northern Utah. On August 10 1004, he married Cora White in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Survivors Include his widow, four daughters, Mrs. Ellis Snow, Garfield; Gar-field; Mrs. Irvine Dalton, Ogden; Mrs. Francis Taylor. Salt Lake City; Mrs. Arnold Gurr, Parowan and Joy Parry, Ogden; a brother, Ed H. Parry, Cedar City; three si.strs. Mrs. Lannij P. Hoyt. Mrs. Edna P. Busby and Caroline Parry, all of Salt Lake City. The funeral services were conducted con-ducted by Bishop J. Clair Piatt of the Cedar Fourth Ward. Speaker were Bishop Piatt, E. M. Corry, B. Glen Kenney, and Stake President David L. Sargent. The musical program Included a vocal solo, "He Knows B.st", by Miles Walker accompanied by Mrs. Beth Leigh; a violin solo by Roy L. Halvcrsen, accompanied by Miss Ruth Corry; a vocal solo, "In The Garden", by Ray CossLtt, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Leigh, and a vocal solo, "I Know That My Redeemer Lives", by E. M. Corry, accompanied accompani-ed by Miss Ruth Corry. Invocation was by Sameul B. Jones, b.nedlction by W. Arthur Jones, and dedication of the grave by Herbert P. Haight. |
