As a natural r'crfatlon following the years of Intense strain of wartime, some of us sem to f el that we can now ait back for a few months and wait for things to happen. As a matter of fact, things go on happening hap-pening wh'thf r we desire to participate partici-pate or not. Utah cannot afford to let Its economy and wartime stan-tard stan-tard of living slip back urn for a month. We need a lot of new Income In-come to take thfl place of the dollars dol-lars formerly spent by the government govern-ment for the purposes of war. "Vacation in Utah" was the Invitation In-vitation issued to more than 100.-000 100.-000 Callfornlans who att nded the California recreation and sportmans show held In th Cilmore Stadium it Lo- Angeles April Uth to 2lit. The invitation was Issued from a Utah Department of Publicity and Industrial Development booth set up at the show. It is cstlmntcd that praotlcally all of the 100,000 who attended at-tended thfl 10-day event, and con-rqu con-rqu ntly visited exhibits, saw the Utah booth when a huge placard lnvlt:i them to spend thjlr vaca tion in man's so nic and vacation areas.
