Show B. A. C. Students Favor Name Change A surv y which was conducted by "Student tile" on the campus of the Utah Stat? Agricultural College at Logan, this week had rep-rcuaslons In th? Branch Agricultural Ag-ricultural College at Cedar City. The Student n?wspaper the "Bac-ian" "Bac-ian" conducted its own survey on the Logan proposed idea of changing chang-ing the school name. "We are an Agricultural College in an agricultural ag-ricultural country, why not use th: name?" Those students who did favor a change t nded to run to the Logan Lo-gan inspired idea of "A Ac M" College Col-lege and suggfst d "Branch A & M" as the possible substitute. Still others, and a surprising majority ran to th geographical location of the school and favored recognition of the South' rn Utah theme. Names suggest' d by this group included, "Utah State College Southern," and "Southern Branch Utah Stat?." I |
