Show Lions Ask Home Owners To House Convention Visitors The housing committee of the Cer"ar City Lions Club, headed by Eddl. Peterson, is striving to arrange ar-range with home owners, particularly particu-larly members of the club, to house an over-flow attendance at the Sta'e Convention to be held here June 20, 21 and 22nd. Ewry club in the state is planning plan-ning to send a large delegation to the convention, and already requests re-quests for reservations exceeds the number of hotel and motel accommodations accom-modations available, and the committee com-mittee is now conducting a survey sur-vey to determine how many may be provided sleeping accommodations accommoda-tions in homes. In the meantime oth,"?r committees commit-tees are busy with preparations for the convntion program. A ffautre of the convention will be an afternoon after-noon and evening of outdoor ac-tlvties ac-tlvties at Gdar Breaks and in Cedar Ce-dar canyon. The climax of the three day gathering gath-ering will be the Governor's Banquet Ban-quet Saturuday evening, while otlrr features will include the Key Members Mem-bers Breakfast, being arranged by the Salt Lake City club, and the Model Luncheon, to be handled by the St. George Club. |
