Show New II iff h School Coach Employed Ianthus, Wright. Superintendent of Iron County Schools, announces that George N. Cooper of Pan-guitch Pan-guitch hius been employed as Coach ut the Cedar City high school to succeed Monte Bailey who entered enter-ed military service at the close of school In May. Mr. Cooer is a former three-letter three-letter athlete at the Brighum Young University at Provo, gaining his letter in football, basketball and track, during each of his" three years of competition ut the Provo school, and was given all-conference recognition in each or the three .sports. Graduating from the University In 1333, Cooper entered the Pun-gultch Pun-gultch high school, where he served as Coach and Mathematics instructor instruc-tor for several years, and was then named Principal of the School. He left the school in 1942 to accept ac-cept employment In a war plant at Long Beach California, where he has been working since. Mr. Cooper, a native of Panguitch is married and has four children, two sons and two daughters. He will move his family to Cedar City next week to be ready to Issue a call for Hedmen football candidates as soon as school opens on September Sep-tember 4th. |
