Show Congress of Parent Teachers Hold Meet The first of a series ol regional conferences of the Utah Congress of Parent and Teachers was held In Cedar City Tuesday, at which emphasis was placed on closer ties and better undcrstanlng between the schools and the home. The Conference was attended by representatives from Washington, Kane. Garfield, Beaver and Iron counties and was presided over by Mrs. D. Ned Sargeant, Cedar City P. T. A. president. Mrs. Warren L. Mabrey, Cape Girardeau, Mo., representative of the National P. T. A. congress, was the principal speaker at the opening open-ing session and made a plea for nctlon on the part of parents and teachers In building better cltzen-ship. cltzen-ship.
