Show Onion Days Races t Revived at Payson Of Interest to the people of Cedar City and viclnty Is the recently announcement an-nouncement that Payson will resume Its annual Golden Onion Days and homecoming celebration this year, j One of Utah's favorite celebrations this traditional Labor Day week-end fete will be held this year commencing commen-cing Saturday. Sept. 1 and will continue con-tinue for four days and nights, through September 4. Payson promises the people of Cedar Ce-dar City and vicinity the same high quality entertainment features that have made this celebration outstanding out-standing in the past.. The well-rounded program of events will again feature Payson s horse racing, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday afternoons of the celebration. celebra-tion. For these races, approximately 75 of the fastest horses in the inter-mountain inter-mountain country have been booked. Eight big races will be run each day, and the use of the modern electric starting gate will so facilitate the events that there will be no delay. $2,500.00 In purses Is being offered for the races.
