Show Vocational Day Is Revived At BAC; Many Students To Enter in Competition Vocational Day at the Branch Agricultural College will be revive 1 Saturday, the first time sines 1942 when travel restrictions forced the 1!scont'nu:'nce of the annual event. Mr. Fetersnn states that registration registra-tion of visiting students will begin U 8 a. m. with departmental con-te con-te ts getting unrway at 9 a. m. Contests will be conducted In agricultural, ag-ricultural, home economics, business busi-ness and Industrial arts fields. Judge in ths various competitive events will be members of the Ut:.h extension staff. Vocational Cay at ths college was started nearly fifteen years ago uncsr the d.rect:on of C. B. Saturday's program will include a lecture by Miss Mary L. Ba tow, head of the college art department, on "Applied Art", preceding the demonstrations In the home economics eco-nomics department. A fashion show and special di plays lu the college col-lege kitchen will also feature the morning sessions. Demonstrations on arc and acetylene ace-tylene welding, automotive and airplane engine", body and fender work, and general shop repair ana practice, will be conducted thruout ths morning at the Industrial arts department. The high schools wll. compete in Judging of livestock, poultry and crops In the agricultural agricul-tural department. Visiting students and faculty members will be guests of the college col-lege at a noon luncheon, and a special assembly for visitors and members of ths college student bod) will be conducted at 2 p. m. after which a matinee dance will be held In the gymnasium.
