Show Pictures An ive For Annual Art Exhibit At a meeting o." the Art Exhibit Committee Tlara-uy hu.en Coo.ey, secretary, reported that the pictures pic-tures for the annual exhibit were beginning to' arrive and that advance ad-vance Inquiries Indicated an exceptionally ex-ceptionally large and" high type exhibit this year. Many nationally known artists are becoming lntere ted In the Cedar Ce-dar City project and are anxioas to exhibit their paintings. Another year it will necessitate an art jury to make selections from ths many pictures that are fast becoming available, Mr. Cooley lugge&tsd. One of the most Important committees com-mittees of the exhibit, ths display committee, was given the go ahead signal. Wallace Osborne heads the committee with M.lry Bostow, Mary Nelon, Kirk Daly, Morris Buhan-an, Buhan-an, Clarence AnSerson and Do.".?.ld Nelson, assisting. This group is responsible for ths organization and arranging of the paintings in the entire exhibit, which includes much detail work In making ths proper selections for the various groupings. The exhibit will be held fiom April 14th to 28th, inclusive, in the High School gymnasium. |
