Show THE ENOCH DRAMATIC SCORES BIG SUCCESS Hurrah for Enoch! The only theatre that has been presented pre-sented to a Cedar City audience this winter wus by the dramutic compuny of this enterprising little burg. And it was no burlesque, either. In fact it seemed to be enthusiastically received re-ceived by a large und appreciative uudience. We have seen a great many poorer plays und less skillfully handled hand-led on tjie local stage, even by itinerary itin-erary troupes which professed to be in the professional class. The company was coached and one of the leading roles enacted by Dan E. Matheson, and the effort does him much credit. The play has a pleasing plot and a i very satisfactory ending, and it com-! bines both comedy and pathos in til ternating scenes. Perfection in the acting was not to j he expected, but the interpretation of j the various roles was good, atul al most 'without exception the lines were well learned und audibly spoken, leaving leav-ing nothing to be gueoaud it, which is an important achievement in local theatricals. Should the Enoch Dramntic com-i pany visit any of the other towns of the county we guarantee that they will please their audiences. The proceeds pro-ceeds of their shows are Weing applied towards the settlement of their ac-count ac-count on the purchase of a splendid I piano at the meeting house, so that they are engaged in a deserving undertaking. un-dertaking.
